TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY – GAME OF SKILL – WORDFLYERS RACE AROUND THE WORLD COMPETITION

METHOD OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is open only to all schools in Australia. Employees and their families of Blake Education are ineligible to participate.

3. Entry into the competition is automatically validated via free trial, extended free trial or current school subscription to the WordFlyers program through the website sign up page, fax form, or by contacting the Customer Care team.

4. Paid subscribers are automatically entered into the competition, but can only be eligible for the teacher and student prizes. Paid subscribers (teachers) are required to have a minimum of 20 students in their WordFlyers class to qualify. Paid subscribers are not eligible for the School prize (annual whole school subscription to WordFlyers outlined in point 7 of the prizes draw).

5. Entrants can only enter the competition once. A maximum of one prize per school, teacher or student is allowed. Prizes are not transferrable, not refundable and not redeemable for cash. A competition entry is only valid if all required fields are entered correctly.

COMPETITION PERIOD

6. The Competition Period commences 1 May 2017 and concludes 23 June 2017 10:00am AEST.

PRIZES

7. School Prize: Only new FREE trialist and retrialist entrants can qualify for this prize. The school with the most completed lessons as of 10:00am 23 June 2017. The school must have a minimum of 3 teachers, each with 20 students in their WordFlyers class, to qualify. Lessons completed will be counted from 1 May 2017 until 23 June 2017 10:00am AEST. Any lessons completed outside of the competition period (1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017) will not be counted. Schools and teachers on a current subscription cannot win this prize.

Prize: The prize will consist of ONE free annual school subscription (maximum value $15,200). The total value of the prize could amount to a maximum of $15,688, based on the capacity of the school. The prize will be awarded to the Trialling School with the most completed lessons, who also has a minimum of 3 teachers, each with 20 students, in their WordFlyers class. This value is estimated and will vary depending on the school’s quote, as WordFlyers is calculated on the amount of students in a school/class.

8. Teacher Prizes: The 5 teachers with a class who completed the most lessons as of 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET. Teacher must have a minimum of 20 students in their WordFlyers class to qualify. Lessons completed will be counted from 1 May 2017 until 23 June 2017 10:00am AEST. Any lessons completed outside of the competition period (1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017) will not be counted. One prize per teacher, teachers can only win once.

Prize 1: The first prize will consist of ONE iPad mini 4. The total value $455. This prize will be awarded to the teacher with a class who has completed the most WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

Prize 2: The second prize will consist of ONE iPad mini 4. The total value $455. This prize will be awarded to the teacher with a class who has completed the second-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

Prize 3: The third prize will consist of ONE iPad mini 4. The total value $455. This prize will be awarded to the teacher with a class who has completed the third-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

Prize 4: The fourth prize will consist of ONE iPad mini 4. The total value $455. This prize will be awarded to the teacher with a class who has completed the fourth-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET

Prize 5: The fifth prize will consist of ONE iPad mini 4. The total value $455. This prize will be awarded to the teacher with a class who has completed the fifth-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET

9. Student Prizes: The 3 students with the most completed lessons as of 23 June 2017 10:00am AEST. Lessons completed will be counted from 1 May 2017 until 23 June 2017 10am AEST. Any lessons completed outside of the competition period (1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017) will not be counted. One prize per student, students can only win once. Prizes will be given to the head teacher (or equivalent) on behalf of the students, for the teacher to award the student(s) at their own discretion. The 'Top scoring WordFlyers' leader board on http://wordflyers.com.au/ cannot be used to see how students are performing in the competition. The 'Top scoring WordFlyers' leader board shows all time points collected, not lessons completed.

Prize 1: The first prize will consist of ONE $150 iTunes gift card. This prize will be awarded to the top scoring student, who has completed the most WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

Prize 2: The second prize will consist of ONE $100 iTunes gift card. This prize will be awarded to the student who has completed the second-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

Prize 3: The third prize will consist of ONE $50 iTunes gift card. This prize will be awarded to the student who has completed the third-highest number of WordFlyers lessons between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET.

10. FREE WordFlyers Teacher Guide: Any new teacher who signs up to a WordFlyers trial between 1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017 10:00am ASET, that is not within a school already on a paid subscription. One WordFlyers Teacher Guide per teacher. Teacher will be able to select their WordFlyers Teacher Guide of choice (Year 7, 8, 9 or 10) through contact made by our Customer Care team. Teachers who sign up outside of the competition period (1 May 2017 and 23 June 2017) are not eligible.

11. The total prize pool is valued at up to $17,775, based on the capacity of the school

12. Prizes are not transferrable, not refundable and not redeemable for cash.

13. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, Blake Education (WordFlyers) reserves the right to substitute a different prize of equal or greater value.

14. The prizes are not available in conjunction with any other offer and are not available on 30-day preview.

15. One prize per teacher, student or school.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

16. The prize judgement will take place on 23 June 2017 10:15am ASET at the Blake Education Head Office, 655, Parramatta Road, LEICHHARDT, NSW 2040, by WordFlyers based on the competition criteria. The winners will be notified by phone, email, mail and/or social media after the competition is complete.

17. If prizes are not claimed within: 28 days after the draw; a redraw will be held on 24 July 2017 at 10:00am ASET, at the Blake Education Head Office, 655 Parramatta Road, LEICHHARDT, NSW 2040.

FINAL CONDITIONS

18. Blake Education (WordFlyers) reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. Blake Education (WordFlyers) reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.

19. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by Blake Education (WordFlyers).

21. All entries will be the property of Blake Education. The information entrants provide will be used by Blake Education for the purpose of conducting this promotion, and may, for this purpose, disclose information as required to Australia regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Blake Education and its related subsidiaries may use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. Blake Education is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Participants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to WordFlyers.
